Jessica dropped off little Valentine before she went to dEluxe. Reina didn't mind. She liked talking to Jessica on the way. The ride over didn't take too long... Berkeley isn't too far from Albany.
Reina was great company through the ride. But once they got to the club they sat on the hood of Jessica's car as they waited for Neal to make it.

Neal pulled up in his old 1972 mustang. When most people thought of a mustang, they thought of a nice, clean car. His was old, and it's looks showed how old it was. The backseats were taken up by an emtpy guitar case, and it was supposed to be holding one of his Stratocasters, which was instead in the passenger seat. He had smashed one of his Strats when he was a senior, that way he could get off the stage without doing any encores. He owned around 10 or 11 starts, which he bought with money that he earned from gigs. The one in the backseat was blue, one of the few he would never break. There was a sticker on the guitar next to the pickups, where it would not do anything to the guitar, that said "Made In '87." The sticker, of course, referred to his birthyear.
He normally didn't go to clubs, but he heard that the punk band playing today was extremely good, making it the only reason he wanted to go here. "Reina, Ms. Moseby." He said, nodding to them. He pushed some of the bleached hair out of his eyes to see the two women.

Reina didn't mind Jessica's car. It wasn't a 1923 Chevrolet Roadster, though... Reina's car, basically. It took her years to find, but she finally got it. But she was stuck in this 90s model car... She couldn't identify anything about it because if a car was past 1967 then she can't find out ANYTHING about it from a glance.
But she let that slip from her mind as she and Jessica drove over to dEluxe. They chatted about random things from the record label to Valentine to the concept of the game Red light, Green Light and the hope that Kandy Kiss will go on tour. When they got to dEluxe they sat on the hood of the car. They waited for Neal. In the corner of her eye she found Neal walking towrads them. "Finally. We thought you got lost," she joked.

Jessica looked up and saw Neal finally walk over. "Oh, c'mon, I signed you onto the label, you can at least call me by my first name!" she smiled and got up from the hood of the car. She paused then went back to her backseat and grabbed her LA stinks jacket. She put it on and zipped it halfway. "Sorry, I get cold in there sometimes," she said to him.
She passed the two then went to the door. She waited for them to catch up because in Berkeley Jessica was a nobody again.

"Yeah, alright." He said to Jessica. He walked into the bar, and the bouncer immediately pointed to the table that he called for. He called the manager, and he arranged for the table. He never asked any favors from him, because he never went to clubs. He walked to the table with them. "So, our condition was that I have to have a band completely together by the end of the month, right?" He asked Jessica, before sitting down. "Because as long as that's it, I can handle that. He pulled out a cigarette, flicked his lighter out and lit it, and put his lighter back, doing all of this in a quick flick of the wrist.

Jessica followed Neal into the club. She hated being like everyone else again in Berkeley. In any play in Albany, she was well known. Not here... Not yet at least. In the club there was a table reserved for the three of them. She took a seat as Reina sat right next to her, obviously bored of what's currently going on.
Jessica smiled and shook her head. "There was one more condition. You might not remember it, but I've hinted it before," she said to him over the music. Then again, she rarely ever directly said this condition to all the other bands... Only hinted to what it was and hoped they'd know. So hopefully he'd know that there has to be an album out within the first two years of being signed, then after that they'll get kicked off if there hasn't been an album.

"Yeah, make a record and shit. Yeah, I remember rather well. We'll be in the studio on tuesday, considering nobody's ever using the studio lately." He said. He already informed his band where they would be recording. He sent them the message on the way to the bar. "We're going to record a few songs I wrote up, and my drummer and I already worked on them a bit, we just need to get the bassist into it." He informed her, ignoring the annoying punk band playing. He was under the impression there would be a real punk band playing, but he was very wrong. Reina looked very bored as well, but he ignored that fact.
